Dosha Balance

This is a new page to help visitors find what they are seeking. DoshaBalance.com was originally split off from KitchenDoctor.com and then it became the source for three more sites: AyurvedicBazaar.com, the KayaKalpa Forum, and SiddhaMedicine membership site.

Ayurvedic Herbs

An explanation of the basic organization will help. Though KitchenDoctor.com was inspired by Ayurveda, many of the most popular pages were based on other systems of natural healing. Those pages remain on KitchenDoctor.com but the important essays on Taste and the Elements as well as the pages with information about famous products, such as Chyawanprash, were moved DoshaBalance.com.

As the selection of products expanded from 20-30 selections to over 300, a separate site was created for Ayurvedic herbs and personal care items, including many kinds of soap, toothpaste, shampoos and conditioners, and hair oils.

When beginning the research on Kaya Kalpa, a system for rejuvenation, a forum was started. This was soon followed by a buying "club" that offers significant discounts on purchases.

Meanwhile, most new essays on Ayurveda were posted to my personal site while the very much more serious writings were produced as pdfs and uploaded to the SiddhaMedicine site.
